This was a last minute booking to cut our drive from Atlanta to the beach in half. The reviews seemed favorable and the price was right so we booked it and arrived around 10PM. When we got there, I stood at the check in desk for a solid ten minutes waiting for someone to show up to check us in. Then, we got to the room. It was clean and no complaints about it. However, every room around us sounded like there was a party going on. Loud music coming from the room next to us and the three rooms across the hall were all talking so loudly, it felt like they could have been in our room. Then, there were people standing outside our door at 10:30 on speaker phone. We went to the person who checked us in and asked if we could move rooms. He said the only rooms he could move us to were double queen rooms and he would have to charge us more. He said he would come and ask the other guests to quiet down. About 15 minutes later, it was getting worse and the front desk guy hadn't made it down to talk to anyone. We were exhausted and decided to cut our losses, eat the non refundable hotel booking cost and booked at the Fairfield Inn down by the airport. Significantly better experience AND we ended up getting it cheaper than we got the Best Western. Who knows, maybe it would have quieted down. But I wasnt interested in spending a night unable to sleep. I would recommend a hard pass on this hotel and stay somewhere else. less
