I came to this hotel on Valentine's night, which was pre booked by my partner.
On arriving at the hotel it looked lovely and also the lady on the desk on checking in was very helpful and lovely. Also finding the hotel was very clean was great.
When in our room we noticed that the double room which was booked, was actually a twin room with the beds pushed together which was very disappointing because we had not got what we booked, the room was a little dated but very clean.
When getting in to the beds at night we had realised also that one of the matteress on the beds was very dipped and uncomfortable and the other mattress on the other bed, the springs was sticking out so also very uncomfortable. Didn't complain at the time because the hotel was full anyways so waited until the morning.
Breakfast in the morning consisted of a buffet with fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, toast and cereals and also you can order a freshly hot made breakfast which was great.
Once on checkout, I had complained to the man at the desk about the beds being pushed together, he's reply was "that's the way we sometimes do it". This shouldn't be the case in hotels to any standard. A customer goes to a hotel and should get what they have booked and asked for. Also I told him about that the mattresses may want to be changed due our experiences and not getting much sleep due to them being very uncomfortable. The man didn't seem very bothered and just smiled. less
