Room was dirty and bathroom disgusting

We looked at the Trip Advisor comments when booking here and were VERY disappointed. The front desk staff were very nice but the room was very dirty. We picked up chunks of dirt and twigs off the carpet and it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. Our cat was bit by something on her chin! The bathroom toilet has crystallized pee on the seat and clearly hadn't been cleaned in weeks either.
We would have left but we had already made plans for friends to pick us up there. We spent a lot of time cleaning the room as best as we could so the cat would not get into dirt. The price was right if the room was clean but they should have paid us to stay there as it was cleaner after we left. Will not stay again and the breakfast was minimal at best. Nothing healthy for a diabetic for sure. Will not recommend this lace to anyone. less
