Ok Hotel, Poor parking and poor staff and management

The hotel was dated but wasn't terrible, the room was ok. The main problem i had was with the parking, this is a hotel and "Conference Center" and being that it is a hotel over 5 floors with on their website stating complimentary parking that there would be adequate parking. If they have 75 spots i would be amazed. Needless to say it took the hotel 45 minutes to find a parking spot for me, the TV in the room didn't work, even after i had someone come look at it, and when i called back i just kept being placed on hold.
I did speak to the general manager this morning with hopes of at minimum empathy and maybe an apology, i got excuses (Same as the staff gave) and not a single i am sorry for the experience.
Some other highlights, the area is noisy so expect a lot of noise, and they do not patrol the exterior hallways so it can be loud to all hours of the night.
I wasn't able to tell the manager of the yellow water that came out of the shower into the tub as i left when he was curt to me and just giving excuses. less

It was a pleasure speaking with you the other day. As I informed you during our conversation, although parking is complimentary, it is not guaranteed. Yes, we have over 80 parking spots in our lot, which is a lot, in New York standards, but we have 98 rooms on our property. Also, very little we can do about the area noise. This is New York and any metropolitan city will always have minimal surrounding noise. There is very little we can do about that but we are trying to find ways to subdue the noise. We have staff on 24 hours a day and our security does patrol the grounds throughout the night. Please do not assume because we all know what assumptions can cause.
