There were very few positives about this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and sweet, the free WiFi was rock-solid, and the room was clean. Everything else was subpar. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, so much so that my back and legs ached by the third morning. The breakfast was mediocre and set up in a way that caused crowding and awkwardness. Given that the hotel is across from the railroad station, you would think that trains would be the noisiest aspect of our stay...but no. The housekeeping carts made a huge clatter on the sidewalks outside the room early in the morning, housekeeping staff called loudly to one another outside rooms, and a group of partiers were screaming at one another most of Thanksgiving night. It may be the noisiest place I've ever stayed. The hotel itself is clearly an old motel that was renovated; I know it's New York, but the $153/night charged seemed excessive under the circumstances. I can't say enough good about the front desk staff, though. They really went out of their way to address issues with our reservation and other problems. I wish that were enough to make up for the rest. less

Thank you for your insight of the hotel. I see the pros and cons during your stay with us. I will address the housekeeping cart issue with my staff. The restaurant is a separate entity but rest assured, I am working with the owner to redsign the breakfast layout so the flow can be more streamlined.
I understand your concern with the noise and we do have security on premise to handle any noise complaints we receive from our guests. We do live in a city so outside noise is expected. Nonetheless, we are trying to provide our guests a quiet stay which is why we provide ear plugs in the more exposed rooms
