Firstly, it was nice that they let us check in an hour early, as it turned out the beach was windy and a little cold to stay for too long. But, then when we went in to check in, the front desk clerk was really rude and demanded that I show my ID, even though my mother was paying and had her ID. This meant after a long car ride, as a physically disabled person, I had to go back to my car and get it. I was annoyed. Then, the hotel is under some construction, so there was hammering several hours that afternoon, but we knew that going in, so. Biggest issue was that there were only two actually accessible handicapped spaces that a wheelchair could use to get to a room. The other spaces were all the way around the entire hotel or at the bottom of a set of stairs??? Beyond inconvenient, since we had a disabled room and I am disabled, though not in a wheelchair. The food was acceptable, though not great, partially due to COVID restrictions. But you'd think they might make an effort to extend their continental choices because the full part was not available. But they didn't, had no toast available, only packaged pastries and hard-boiled eggs and yogurt cups with apples or oranges already bagged. And same two cereal choices as if adding to a full breakfast. And I was not offered any sort of instant or non-contact checkout. I suppose I could have just left. less
