My niece got married this weekend. Rather than paying close to $1000 (where they were staying) for 2 nights, my husband and I decided to look for a more budget friendly hotel. Our only requirement was that it had a whirlpool tub.
We found it at the Best Western Marble Falls!
We booked for 2 nights (Fri/Sat). I received a telephone call Friday afternoon from the hotel that they were ready for us HOWEVER the tv was broken. They gave me 2 options. Either cancel the reservation OR they will take $50 ($25 a night) off our hotel bill. We chose the discount. I don't really watch TV and my husband has an iPad.
The up sides of our stay- room was spacious and clean. The whirlpool was a DREAM. Parking lot, while cramped, was well lit and we felt safe. Staff was extremely friendly.
The down sides- you get what you pay for. The towels were hard and brittle feeling. The soaps/shampoo/condition wasn't much better. The AC did keep the room cool however it was loud with the constant running on and off. We heard the guests above us walking/running (kids) around. Breakfast was not much if anything. However I attribute that to COVID.
For what we pay and the fact that Marble Falls is a "resort town" it wasn't bad at all. Now that we know what to expect, we will gladly stay here again! less
