Tired hotel. Parking not free.
Stayed here just for one night as visiting friends. When we arrived we noticed signs about paying to park. We enquired at reception and was told they no longer owned the land outside and a private company owned it. Parking was £10 for 24 hours. If I had more time I would have looked for a space on the adjoining roads. The hotel did not feel very welcoming. To get to our room, 004, we had to walk through restaurant, which was empty but had loads of dirty dishes left on the tables which hadn’t been cleared away, and down some stairs. We seemed to have all the air conditioning units outside our window which hummed all night. It rained all night and the guttering must have been faulty as it sounded like a waterfall. When the rain did stop then there was the sound of dripping, from a great height. All in all we did not enjoy our stay and was very tired from not getting a good nights sleep. less
