It's a friendly budget hotel with good basic amenities close to transport links for the city. Stayed with my wife for a weekend catching up with daughter/nephews in the area and a day out to the city at Museums, dining and theatre. Good on site car parking (£10/night) was convenient as I don't often drive into London so I left it there and took tube or bus, all in easy walking distance. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Yes, there was some noise from other guests at night but it's a city location with family groups of all ages visiting so nothing unexpected, felt like a safe environment for a family visit to the city. Room was big enough (it's a budget hotel, at least we could walk each side of the bed) for our three night stay - we were only in it overnight - and it was kept very clean and tidy as was the shower room, which had a good supply of hot water. Buffet breakfast was simple and good with fresh selection of cooked and continental breakfast in a simple dining area that was kept clean and tidy by friendly staff. We used our room (on 2nd floor, lift always quick) as a base for going out to meet up with family and enjoy the amenities of a nor inexpensive city so it was ideal for us and would stay again if visiting this part of the city. less
