Best Western Lansdowne Hotel

WE went to the Lansdowne through a TravelZoo offer for 2 nights. We went at this time to go to a 60s show at the Congress Theatre. Our room although at the back of the hotel was very comfortable and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The restaurant offers a superior impression and were impressed by the choice and quality of the food. The breakfasts were also very good offering a wide choice of options. The staff were helpful and informative. We will probably stay her again next year. less

We stayed just the one night. Its a lovely hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautifully furnished. I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel on another visit, the traffic is quite noisy on the seafront - we live in a place where you can hear a pin drop so are super sensitive! The option of a feather pillow would have been lovely, I found the ones on our bed rather unyielding. But all in all a place worth staying at. less

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel which is in an area we have not visited before. i.e. East Sussex. Our room had a sea view and was clean and comfortable. The staff, reception, waiters and cleaners etc. were extremely friendly, helpful and cheerful. less

This Is the second time we have stayed at the Lansdowne and it has been redecorated throughout. The food is good and the location terrific, just a 10 minute walk to the pier and central Eastbourne. The prices on drinks are very reasonable and we will stay again. less

This is my, now, regular go to hotel in Eastbourne. I have a seaview room usually on a single basis and the room I had recently had an L shape main part so my sitting area next to a large window to gaze out to sea. Currently a Sun - Thurs Dinner B&B too good to miss - usually I have just B&B. Really good quality food and 4 course dinner with a sorbet between starter and main is an old fashioned delight in my view. Pleased to see it was very busy and I hope it remains so - the staff are attentive pleasant courteous and all very smart looking too. less
