Staff is excellent...rooms are good.
We stayed here for a night over the Labor Day weekend holiday. The check in clerk was SUPER friendly and told us all about the moose photos in the lobby area, as well as the amenities available to us. She gave us the vouchers for breakfast (or any meal) at the King Salmon Restaurant, which is in the same parking lot. Our room was 208, on the upper floor. There's not an elevator here, so if you have mobility issues, ask for a ground floor room. The room was quite large and had two queen beds, plus a small table and chairs. It seems as if everything was recently renovated: the carpet was a new "lodge" themed print, furniture was new and the bathroom was a decent size as well. We really liked that the hotel gave us 2 bottles of water, some fruit snacks and peanut butter crackers as a welcome. Also, they provide the standard toiletries plus shower caps, makeup remover towels, etc. There are a lot of nice little touches!
Admittedly, it wasn't as comfy as other beds I slept. For the price, especially with meals and snacks, we really enjoyed it. I would definitely stay here again! less
