During my recent stay my nephew was bitten by bedbugs on the face, eye and head. When brought to the manager ‘s attention, the room was changed and she indicated that an investigation would be conducted. We placed our belongings in plastic bags and the cleaning staff placed them in the dryer for us.
When I told the manager how upset I was about my nephew, she informed me that I shouldn’t be because she changed the room for me.when I asked her how she would feel if she was in this situation, she agreed that it was not pleasant.
When checking out I asked to see the manager and told her that I expectedto be compensated for at least one night because of the bedbugs. She informed me that schools and nursing homes also had bed bugs. I did not understand what that had to do with the situation. She also informed me that she took $30 off the bill. I told her this was unacceptable. I visit this facility at least once a year and rent several rooms. She told me that she would take care of me next year and informed me that no one else complained of bed bugs. I will never return to this facility again. less

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your visit. We take any report of bed bugs very seriously and maintain and ongoing preventative pest control contract in hopes of avoiding ever having an issue. We have already been in contact with them to have them inspect the room in question and should they find a problem we will act quickly based on their instructions to correct it.
