I would have walked right out if my room had not already been paid for and non-refundable. First of all, I specifically looked for a hotel with airport shuttle service. I even called to see what times their shuttle leaves for the airport. I was told every hour, on the hour and half hour. I landed at about 8:20 pm and when I called the front desk, she said the shuttle stops at 8:00 pm. I then had to get an Uber, which cost $25.
Upon entering the lobby, there was a homeless man sitting on the couch. There was one young woman working the front desk. She was extremely slow checking in the person in front of me. She did not smile or greet me. Answered the phone in between customers who were waiting in line instead of putting them on hold and helping the people right in front of her. Clearly, she has no clue what customer service is and does not care. She was rude.
I go to my room and upon opening the door, it WREAKED of cigarette smoke. So I go back to the rude girl at the front desk and she makes me wait an additional 15 minutes to get a different room. I go to the next room...it, too, wreaks of cigarettes! At this point I’m so exhausted and have to wake up early. I just figured they all must smell like cigarettes. It was disgusting and very difficult to get sleep. I honestly couldn’t wait for my alarm to go off just so I could get out of there. This is supposed to be a 100% smoke-free hotel. IT IS NOT!!!
This hotel is gross, dirty, smelly, and has a lot of sketchy people staying there. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I’m sure drugs are being done in those rooms. I will never return! Pay the extra $30 and stay at a Marriott. less
