I stopped here for one night only, and enjoyed my time at the inn. You can't fault the Best Western motel group for good customer service, attractive public interiors and bedrooms, and 100% cleanliness. Yes...the chain is not on the cheap side, but I felt that I was well-rewarded for the price I paid.
I was tired when I checked in (I didn't have a reservation) from having driven up and down British Columbia's countless mountain ranges, passes and deep valleys! Because of my automobile membership, I got a fairly good price for my room, and the receptionist (a very pleasant and drily ironic and humourous French-speaking---European, not Quebecois---woman) gave me a top 3rd-floor room with a wonderful view of the Rocky Mountains. Before I left the next morning, I had a filling complimentary-included breakfast.
Unfortunately, on the morning when I checked out, there was just one overly-worked and stressed-out woman managing the front desk, plus serving in the kitchen and dining-room! She managed well, though---although that was the first time I'd ever encountered an absurdist situation that involved someone saying to me, "Would you mind waiting a couple of minutes before I check you out so I can go into the kitchen and flip the pancakes and then bring them out to the hot buffet table?" Obviously, I was more than happy to wait a bit!
This Best Western was a good, much-needed oasis for me, being located in the attractive town of Invermere close to a lake and directly on the main street. less
