Who would expect a rather top end hotel would leave me suffering now for over two weeks with the results bedbug bites!!! I was tempted to advise people right after the nightmare, but the staff and manager were so kind that I kept my mouth shut. Shame on me!!! I totally regret that someone else may have suffered my fate. Because you pay $$$$ for a room and everything looks fine, BEWARE!!! They moved us from the room it happened in to another room the next day, but had the gall to put other people into the room we vacated the very next night!!!!! I heard folks chatting in there - that's how I knew. How cruel and insensitive!!! Yes, the management did what they had to do - refund our stay. But they apparently didn't do what they should have and that is notify the health department and/or totally vacate that particular room. They boast of being filled 100% every night - hmmm.... wonder how many others have left there with an outrageous outbreak from bedbugs. It will be months before my body is free from the bite marks and the remnants of their saliva being in my blood system will probably be with me forever - a total nightmare!!!!! Yes, I've also paid dearly $$$ because of prescriptions, doctor, etc. Any advice??? less

We take situation such as this very seriously. We have in house training and have routine checks as well as special covers on all our bedding to deter any kind of pests. Upon learning of your experience we immediately shut the room down and called in our professional pest control company to investigate and treat accordingly.
I reject you stating the room was sold the next night, this never happened and our records will show this. Even though no evidence was found, the room and surrounding area has been treated over number of days. We follow protocols and follow the directions of our pest control company and only then the room is made available. The well being and comfort of our guests is very important to us.
