We showed up at 10pm with a guaranteed late arrival to find our 2 rooms cancelled without notification. Best Western has an online policy of waiting for guests to arrive before running their credit cards through as opposed to day of reservation. They ran my card the morning of our arrival to find it declined because the card had been replaced for fraudulent activity. If they had followed the Best Western policy, we would have arrived and I would have provided them with a working card. I will go out of my way to tell people NOT to book at this Best Western ever. The corporate brand was also diminished when we called them and they told us that we had to call back in the morn To get email confirmations upon booking and then a follow up the day before arrival to welcome us and tell us "looking forward to our arrival" only to show up to have 2 rooms canceled with no options and an incredibly rude front desk person NOT be able to help us was completely unacceptable. I can't tell you how upset I still am at the entire experience Nothing good about this experience. The resst of the rating is based on the 1 room they upcharged us for where 4 of us crammed in to that one space. This is all direct experience. less

Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry and understand your frustration. Please note a valid credit card is requested to guarantee a reservation. We have a policy to check the validity of the credit card on the day of arrival as the funds do not get tied up anytime earlier out of respect to our guests. We regret you did not contact us to make correction to the credit card information due to the fraudulent activity on the original credit card you used to make the reservation. Unfortunately, the hotel has no way of knowing the circumstances of your credit card unless you inform us. I hope this information is useful for your future travels.
