My wife and I stopped at the Yuma Best Western to get a jump on our trip from San Diego to Sedona. When I booked the room I asked for a 1st floor room because of my wife's knee problems, but when I checked in, the desk clerk told me they had no more 1st floor rooms available. After explaining the problem, he gave us a 1st floor two room suite. The room itself was well appointed with modern furniture and a comfortable bed. The real treat was breakfast the next morning. The breakfast at most Best Westerns are marginal at best with dry tasteless eggs and breakfast meats that look and taste as if they were microwaved. The eggs at this Best Western were moist and fluffy, like you would expect at a restaurant. The sausages were cooked two different ways, some cooked through and others cooked crispy to give the guests a choice. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy tasted fresh baked rather than defrosted. There were a number of other dining choices too. It appeared as if the Best Western had an actual cook preparing the food. Finally, the room price was quite reasonable. less
