I booked what was labeled as a suite on the best western website, on check in was told it was a "studio" with a wet bar. Hotel was full so I wasn't able to upgrade either. Well there was a nice dining table and couch but definitely no wet bar. So it would be nice if online descriptions were accurate and hotel staff knew what rooms were what... breakfast is decent but the dining area is too small and it was too cold for us to sit outside so we had to return to the room to eat breakfast (which was fine as we were only a few hundred feet from the breakfast area and had that handy dining table). The hotel also offers a nightly social hour with two free drinks per guest (beer, wine or soda), which was unusual and kind of fun. If you eat at the Village Inn you also receive 20% off your meal.
Room was comfortable and clean however our particular room had horrible gaping between the door and frame on all sides which I'm pretty sure is how we ended up with a crane fly bunking with us. Crane flies are pretty harmless but this could easily allow for some of Arizona's less friendly fauna to visit.
Overall it's a decent hotel, price was pretty fair and it was conveniently located for our visit to Saguaro. less
