When I called to reserve my room, I was told there were NO king single rooms available. When I got there I was given a double room upstairs, clerk said since I was a Diamond rewards member she was going to upgrade me to a King single room downstairs. Strange, how there WAS king single rooms available when I was told there were none to start. My first king room's door locking mechanism was broken so I couldn't get into it after leaving to get something to eat, so, I was given the room next to it, come to find it TOO was a king single room. Again,,,,now there are 2 king single rooms empty, when I was told there were NONE when I reserved my room initially. I did give the clerk my diamond rewards number when I called to reserve my room, and this is how a DIAMOND rewards member gets treated,,,lied to, twice?? Then was told " as a diamond member I can get "upgraded" to what I asked for originally?? less

I apologize that you felt lied to. We were in fact sold out of standard king rooms the night you checked in. We did in fact have 3 of our deluxe king rooms which are typically $20-30 higher than the standard king room. The front desk clerk that took your reservation possibly did not offer you the upgraded room when you called in. Your response has given me an opportunity to remind and retrain the front desk on their reservation making skills. The front desk clerk that checked you in did say you were wearing a boot or cast of some sort so she felt like she made a good decision by upgrading you to the deluxe king downstairs and not charging you the difference. Again, I apologize that this did not satisfy you.
