Our first night was interrupted @ 3:09 a.m. with a car parked outside our window with the motor running and the lights on; after getting repeatedly excuses from the girl at the front desk to call the non emergency police number I called them; the cop came out spoke to the person in the car then left but the car never left (motor still running and lights still on) I called the police back to find out the person in the car was travelling and pulled over to sleep; the officer on the phone the second time said they checked the guy out and it was up to Best Western to make him leave or move. This never happened...after speaking with (3) differ managers at this location they all believed her lies; she never called the cops and she never went out to the car to ask the guy to leave because my husband & I sat there the whole time and watched that car not knowing what was going to happen next; all of this could have been avoided if she had called the police when I asked her to and request thru the police that the car move or leave; with all the things going on in this world today I can't tell you the fear we had not knowing what was going to happen next...this particular Best Western let me & my family down therefore we will never stay there again. less

As hotels are 24-hour businesses, vehicles do come and go during all hours of the day, and night. We take guest security and safety very seriously, providing locks at all public entrances, security cameras in the parking lots, and black out curtains for privacy. We have spoken to the front desk agent on duty that morning. She was able to provide us with her cell phone log showing her call to the non-emergency police number. The officers who responded spoke with the gentleman, determined he was not doing anything wrong and posed no threat, and left the property without contacting the front desk. You stated the police also told you the gentleman was not a threat. When the front desk agent was made aware that the gentleman was still there, she went out and asked him to leave, which he did. Upon our last conversation, when we offered you bonus reward points for your inconvenience, you stated that if you did not receive reimbursement for your stay, you would “slam us on social media.” We feel that our staff member did take the proper steps to insure your safety, and in addition you completed your 3-night stay at our property, and received the bonus points you were offered.
