A true gem of a hotel. From the time of the booking to the end of our stay, the staff were fantastic. They made us feel special and their hospitality was outstanding.
Before I describe the facilities, I wanted to state a fact. I've stayed at many hotels for work and leisure, many of them five stars, but this hotel outshines them easily.
Now to the facilities. We had a room facing the train station and from the moment we closed the windows, you could hear a pin drop. The room had blackout curtains, so the lights from the station weren't a problem. The air-conditioning was very quiet and made the room very comfortable, considering it was 32 degrees outside.
The hotel has concrete floors and ceilings so it's very quiet. We couldn't here a thing from any of the adjacent rooms.
SPOTLESS! Extremely clean hotel. The bathroom was sparkling. Loads of additional storage space in the room. A great sized safe, tucked away in one of the cupboards. Small fridge, ideal for its purpose.
The breakfast was outstanding. A very well presented buffet with ample amounts variety. Sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, white brown and sweet breads. 4 different juices. Lactose free milk. Cereals. Yougourts. Chocolate spread. After all that I was pretty full.
My wife has a gluten intolerance and the moment the staff heard this they ran to the shop to get her a loaf of gluten free bread.
I couldn't find a single fault with hotel. In fact we are looking to explore the area some more and there is absolutely no need to guess where we will be staying. less
