I landed in Zurich, made my way to Winterthur and saw the hotel hardly 20 meters away from the station (exactly opposite to the station - you can see it from the train station), reached the gate of the hotel. Oh! my god, This looks like a small hotel - I wondered. Soon I realized that this is how hotels in Switzerland are - compact yet classy.
The moment I got to the reception, a very polite guy named Thomas greeted me. He was very kind to help me with my room keys and pro active enough to tell me the timelines of the hotel as well as the city so that I don't end me sleeping empty stomach in the night. I entered my room and it was very good. Great painting struck on wall, soft bed, on the house juices, high speed wifi with upto 10 devices connectivity using my secret credentials, USB charging port, input to stream laptop screen on to the television, 3.5 mm USB jack next to my bed and ovely curtains. This made me really happy (the WIFI was indeed very fast).
The next day I see two lovely ladies at the desk greeting me and directed me to breakfast area. The spread wad great. Oats, Eggs, salami, sausages, fruits, brown bread, white bread, milk, apple juice, orange juice (packed), orange juice (fresh), muffins, tea, coffee and lot more which I don't know the names of..
In the evening Thomas offered me information about the places I can visit over the weekend. Thank you Thomas for being the best customer service representative. You made my stay even better. Cheers to Best Western Hotel.. You guys are doing a great and a better job than many high class hotels in the world. less
