The location is absolutely perfect for the shops, restaurants, a stroll to the lake or to the train station. You can get a free train ticket at the airport (walk through baggage collection to the ticket machines and use the one on the right to push a button for a ticket). The hotel then gives you a free card for travel during your stay so the ride back is free too, making the hotel price very reasonable. Not to mention a lovely breakfast buffet included with breads, spreads, yoghurts, fruit, hot drinks machine, cereal and pastries. There is a Coop mini shop and a large Migros supermarket within a minutes walking. The train station also has a medium size Migros which was handy on our way back from trips.
Ok ok, I knew that it didn't have air conditioning when booking and it wasn't too bad with the floor standing fan at night but it wasn't pleasant at all during temperatures of 26 Celsius during the day. So make sure you're out and about during daylight hours! On the other hand I bet this is a really cosy place in the cooler months.
Reception staff could not have been more helpful, appreciated the efficient check in and out. less
