I stayed there on 12 May 2017. I chose this hotel mainly for its location, which is next to the Viking Line Terminal and the Line No.1 bus stop to the Market Square. It's also a 5-minute walk to the Turku Castle, which is the best museum I visited in Finland. The area outside the hotel was generally quiet, except when a cruise arrived at the cruise terminal.
I dunno if there is lift in the hotel, but the staff just told me to use the main staircase. I found it rather inconvenient since I carried a suitcase. My room was on the 2nd floor with small windows overseeing the Viking Cruise Terminal. There is a lobby with sofas and a snooker bench in front of the corridor to the rooms. I could hear people talking loudly there when I was inside my room. The keys were punched cards. I've never used this kind of keys before. The room was very basic. All the furnishings needed renovation. It gave me an impression of those simple guesthouses of the communist countries in the 1970s. The breakfast was simple with not much choices while the breakfast area was also quite crowded at about 8-9 am.
I would recommend this hotel for its location if you arrive late in the evening by Viking Line's cruise. less
