I stayed at this BW for 4 nights in April. I chose it because it was close to the start/finish line for the Half Marathon race of April 9, 2017. It is steps away from the port and all the attractions there, as well as the old town with its small winding streets and tiny shops.
My room was a good size by European standards, with a very comfortable kingsize bed and flat screen TV, though I never had time to watch anything so I can't comment on its quality. The bathroom had a shower and a bidet, no bathtub. The shower size was fine for me but might be considered a bit small for a full adult male, still it will get the job done.
There was one averaged size window with shutters with a view of a building across the street. I liked the fact that I could open the window and listen to the street noises but could have peace and quiet once it was closed.
The building is old but very clean. There is an elevator but, like most elevators in old buildings, it is small with a capacity of 4 people without their luggage. I doubt a wheelchair would fit, you should check with them ahead of time if that is your case.
There is a buffet breakfast that is adequate to most needs, the regular coffee is great and they will make you an expresso or cappuccino if you ask for it. They also have free WIFI.
The staff is terrific, you can ask them just about anything and they will do their best to accommodate you. They really made my stay very pleasant, I would stay there again. less
