We have just returned from a weeks holiday, staying at this hotel on a bed and breakfast board. I really don’t know where to begin in my praise for the hotel and in particular the staff. Even before we arrived I had correspondence with Tiziana the Guest Service Manager, who was extremely helpful in planning our trip from the airport to the hotel. When we arrived at reception, we had the warmest of greetings from her, which made a real difference to the clinical welcome we usually get from other hotels. The room was nice with a comfortable bed, great shower and extremely clean and well serviced. The pool area, although quite small was adequate for the number of quests, most of the time our group of four were the only people around.
On the first night we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant, WOW, what an evening, the food was superb, but more importantly we met Camello. Without a doubt he is the face of Hotel Mediterraneo, he is everywhere and at all times of the day. His friendly smile, warm greeting and cheeky comments throughout our stay made our holiday really special. Best Western Group should use him in all of their marketing, as he is a true ambassador of service.
We ate three nights at the hotel restaurant, and every evening the food was excellent especially the paella, but the Steak Tartare, prepared at your table by Camello is exceptional. I know that this dish is not to everyone’s liking but to see it prepared with such showmanship and resulting in the best Steak Tartare that we have ever tasted was one of the highlights of our stay.
Location is perfect, only a five minute walk from the railway station and two minutes to the bus stop, giving access to Barcelona and Sitges.
But what makes this hotel extra special are the members of the team, who at all times make you feel that you are family quests. As well as Tiziana, Marta, Franz and of course Camello the whole team are friendly with a warm and sincere smile at all times.
Well done Hotel Mediterraneo, you made our short visit truly memorable, and if we visit the area again, the only place we will stay will be with you.

This is why we have decided to put it in the canteen where all employees come at least once a day and will be able to find their name on it and motivation for these days when things goes somehow little taught.
