Traveled to Paliuno for work (with 15 co-workers/clients) and was delighted to find this gem of a hotel (especially in the off-season of January).
This is NOT the typical American Best Western!
The hotel is quaint, but what it may lack in luxury is made up for in food, service and a view! Marco and his staff could not have been more accommodating! Marco was up early and late to assist my team and I. He and the staff worked around our demanding work schedule, including 5am espressos, late lunches and 1am bottles of wine. No matter the hour, they managed to stay polite and kind.
We ate several lunches and dinners there and the food was absolutely amazing, fresh and homemade. They served local red and white wine, equally outstanding!
The dinning area and patio overlook the sea and I was lucky enough to have a ocean view room. My room was simple, but very clean. The bed linens and towels are what you would expect to find in an American Best Western, but with the food, service and price point, certainly made me feel like I found something special! less
