The staff were friendly and encouraging, however the room was unbearably hot. After three nights we were pleased to leave the hotel. The hotel is next to a busy road and junction, so if your room is on the front and you open the small windows you will be kept awake by the noise.
The hotel could open doors or windows in the common areas to create a through draft. But they didn’t. Non of our family of four managed a full nights sleep. Literally sweating in our beds... it was only mid 20’s outside so do not understand why the room was so hot.
I do not recommend the hotel for the summer months, but would recommend for the cooler times of year...

Dear Steve W,
We thank your for taking the time to comment your stay at the Best Western Gap.
We are sincerely sorry for the annoyances you have encountered, related to the lack of air conditioning in your room. Our hotel unfortunately does not offer this feature, as shown on our website.
We understand that during the exceptional periods of summer heat, it may have altered the quality of your comfort and we are sorry. We have at our fans' disposal and propose fresh water free every morning to all the clients.
We hope that despite all this desagrements, we will have the pleasure to welcom you for your next trip at Gap.
