This hotel, with it's mixed architecture and modern interior, is set in a central location within a short walk of main transport links. Likewise it is only a short distance from major landmarks, the city centre and of course shopping and many eateries. By size and location it is aimed at short stay leisure or business trips.
The rooms are arranged around an oval centre and as such are all curved, incorporating built in bathrooms and wardrobe space so that the room does not loose space or shape, while its large windows give plenty of natural light and fresh air. The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable.
Desk, armchair and reading light along with mini bar and trouser press were present in our room.
The hotel also offered breakfast with a range of fresh cooked and continental options, and indoor or outdoor seating. It also offered a bar and downstairs lounge area.
This is were the hotel truly stood out from our short visit. The staff were all welcoming, polite and helpful. Being able to assist us in English and to offer a map of the area and identifying points of interest were offered immediately. Our slightly early arrival was accommodated to the best of their ability which we were very grateful for. Our stay was fully explained, including check out and breakfast, and if we should need any further assistance. A friendly greeting was always waiting when arrived back. This pleasant atmosphere extended to the breakfast and cleaning staff, all of whom carried out their work without any disruption to ourselves.
Overall, a great night sleep in a central location, with outstanding service offered. Ticks all of the boxes for the purpose of the hotel and the clientel it is aimed at. The cost was worth the stay. less
