This hotel definitely could improve on a few things. For a hotel that has been renovated not too long ago, there are things that still could be worked on. For instance, that ELEVATOR! The most ghetto elevator I have ever seen. You have to push down the whole time if you want the elevator to come down, and when you get in, you have to push the button the whole time in order for the elevator to go up. And if someone else is using their ONE elevator it won't come down obviously and you'll either be waiting or thinking the elevator is not working. Ridiculous, my work elevator is just like this, and at work I can deal with it, but not while I'm on vacation! We told the front desk but they couldn't change our room. That was not easy for my mom and aunt who all have bad knees and had to inconveniently take the stairs each time to go up and down because it was sure as hell a lot easier than using that silly elevator. This hotel was not cheap, for that price you'd think they'd have a better elevator that's not from the 1950's. Paid $189 for 3 people. On to other things, the room was kinda cramped and barely any room to put our bags on the tables and barely any room on the washroom counter to put our stuff on. The parking, breakfast, and wifi was free, so that was good. The breakfast was probably the best part of the experience because they had many many options for food out of all the hotels I stayed in Montreal-Quebec. There was eggs, sausages, juices, fruits, yogurts, etc... There is a pool and fitness center. The pool leads to a little outdoor patio, but the pool itself had a very strong bleach smell (more than usual) and it made us not want to swim because it was nauseating. Staff was friendly, most spoke English. Overall, I would pick a different hotel in this nice area. There is alot of stores and restaurants nearby. I recommend the Buffet Des Continents. Not the worst hotel, but needs improving. less
