We stayed at the Hotel Bristol for a works Christmas dinner/dance. On arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile, and directed to a comfortable lounge area to wait for our room to be come available ( we were early ).Check in was straightforward, and our room was spacious and comfortable and contained a very large double bed and all en-suite facilities you would expect.
The meal was of excellent quality, and was silver service - a pleasant change these days - there were at least 3 other parties on the night but all ran like clockwork.
The dance hall is served by two separate bars at opposite ends of the room, so it never seemed overcrowded, and bar prices are reasonable.
Breakfast was again of excellent quality.
The hotel is one of the older Newquay hotels, and is a little tired, but the staff told of ongoing updating, so do not let this worry you, as the plus points far outweigh the negatives.
We would not hesitate to use this hotel again. less
