Best Western Hotel Bristol.

The Best Western Hotel Bristol is a charming cliff top hotel in Newquay, overlooking the golden sands of Tolcarne beach. This delightful family-run retreat really has it all - good food, superb sea views and excellent service. What's more, it provides a great tour base for both Newquay and Cornwall, and plenty of breath-taking scenic spots and attractions. Newquay is also rather food famous - so make sure you leave with a belly full of fresh seafood, scrumptious scones and fudge.

As one of the UK's favourite seaside towns, Newquay is ideal for a family break or romantic getaway, offering 7 miles of sandy coast and quaint, peaceful charm. You'll find 11 glorious beaches well within your reach at the Best Western, with impressive waves creating one of the best surfs in Europe. If you feel ready to upgrade the bodyboard, head to one of the many surf schools in the area - we'd recommend The Escape Surf school as its less than 10 minutes drive away. For plenty of evening fun head to the hugely popular Lusty Glaze beach, just a three-minute drive from the Best Western. The beach is famous for its summer Sundowner Sessions and autumn 'Woodburner Sessions', where you can enjoy fantastic live music and food to match, right by the sea.

Here at Best Western Hotel Bristol we understand that your pet is a crucial part of the family, so why should they miss out on the holiday. Your four-legged friend is more than welcome to stay at the hotel for just a small fee, whilst there are plenty of fabulous dog friendly beaches in the area. (Great Western Beach is just 6 minutes walk away).

Since 1927, four generations of the Young family have built up an enviable reputation for service and hospitality at this delightful hotel, so book now to experience for yourself!

Thank you for posting a review. Our hotel is situated 5 minutes from the centre of town and four beaches may be accessed at low tide from Tolcarne beach just across the road from the hotel. I agree, it is rather special to sit and watch the sun set from our sea view rooms. Our "Full English Breakfasts" are freshly prepared and served to your table which I'm pleased you enjoyed. We have ample parking for our guests and I will ensure your positive comments are mentioned at our weekly meeting. Our hotel does not currently have air conditioning in the rooms, however, if you stay in the future and find your room warm, please speak to Reception who will be able to organise a fan for your room. We look forward to your return.

Shocking. Sleepless night.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to read you did not receive a restful night's sleep at the hotel. The hotel has a variety of room types which vary in size from standard singles to sea view and executive rooms which are spacious. Being situated on the sea front, at times the sea gulls and pigeons can be a little intrusive I'm afraid. If you had informed Reception during your stay, they would have endeavoured to allocate you an alternative room. Our sincere apologies regarding the "Marmite Smell". The smell you experienced was created by our eco-friendly food digester. The food digester has recently been serviced and we are waiting for a replacement filter to be fitted. In view of your comments we have taken immediate action. The bio master has been turned off and we are currently utilising a food waste disposal company. Once again, I am sorry that we failed to meet your expectations. If you plan to stay at the hotel in the future, please contact myself direct and I will be happy to work with yourself to find a more suitable room for your stay.
