Best Western Hi-Desert Inn

I guess someone actually vacations in Tonopah, but my guess is that most, like me, are passing through to greener pastures. Trying to cover a lot of ground, I didn't arrive until about 9:30pm and the check in was easy, but the layout of the buildings which sprawl across the property was disorienting in the dark. Trying to figure out where to park was a bit of a challenge and which door to enter the interior halls in the dark was a bit of a challenge despite directions from the front desk. Breakfast was included but the couple of servers are behind plexiglass and fill your plate. They didn't have hot oatmeal, nor raisin bran so I didn't eat anything. Staff all had masks on but some of the guests were non compliant. This isn't really the motel's fault and they can only do so much about it without making a scene or losing a customer. I wish we could all get on the same page. less

We always plan to stay at the Hi-Desert Inn motel when we pass through Tonopah, Nevada because of the location and the fact that it is always consistently nice. We like clean neat places to stay and the Hi-Desert never disappoints. We have enjoyed the breakfasts in the past but the grab and go was ok as that is the present standard. We arrived early and they were very accommodating to let us check in. Room was clean and comfortable. We had the pool to ourselves. Overall a very nice place to stay. They recommended a restaurant for dinner which turned out to be some of the best food on the trip. less

Check in was quick and easy getting into the Room was easy the Room was great comfortable open cool and the new light key card who he was kind of Cool The pool was open yes physical distancing in the areas of the lobby were not taking place there was no lobby it was cordoned off Breakfast the next morning was the best breakfast and the friendliest staff I have ever run into they'd made your food and handed it to you physical distance I was in place in the breakfast Room staff wore masks and gloves when serving the waffles or even a sausage egg and cheese muffin I was very pleased I felt like I was in a very good breakfast restaurant less

I travel a lot for work. All I want is quite, clean room and a comfortable bed. This Hi-Desert inn provides that. I have stayed here a couple times a year for the last 3-4 years and have always been pleased! less
