We only stayed here the one night, were going to stay longer but the room we were given was very stuffy and quite old fashion. At $155 per night we expected a bit of comfort but we found the noise from the traffic very loud, we could hear the showers being used, tv and people in the next room. The pillows flat and hard and we were only given one towel each.
Rooms are air conditioned but this makes the room very stuffy if left on more than an hour
There was no room service and breakfast was served in the dining room only for $15 per head.It was a very nice continental breakfast with a good selection of items including fresh fruit and a variety of cereals., juices and muesile.
Good undercover parking. less

The Grand Country Lodge is well known for its old fashioned homely atmosphere & guests would clearly see that on their arrival. It is a shame you did not ask at reception or take as much time to read the compendium in your room as you have with this review!! If you had you would have noticed the breakfast options & that EXTRA TOWELS, pillows etc are readily available! The new air conditioning units are more than efficient for heating & cooling the rooms, there is always the option of opening a window for fresh air. Some guests who are sensitive to noise notice traffic & other guests activities
