We stayed here in November 2020, so most other guests were work related stays. They kept us in the corner away from everyone else, which was much appreciated. With that said, we have no idea how thin the walls are, but where we were located, it was quiet; no sound at all.
The heating system worked well, but it was ironic that it was fighting a cold draft coming in from the door.
The beds are comfortable with multiple types of pillows available.
The bathroom was, shall we say, "interesting." The door cleared the toilet seat by about one inch, and it faced 90 degrees to the entry. All in all, the bathroom was small, but the vanity area next to it was large.
Breakfast, as noted by another traveler, was outstanding. We too had the experience of a person preparing our food and bringing it out to us, which included hot food choices. We tipped her; it was that good.
The check in and check out staff were personable and friendly.
The reasons I did not give this a 5 star are the bathroom size and I really wonder if you can hear your neighbors in summer when it's at capacity. The layout gives me the impression that you would at least hear the ones next to you, but I cannot say whether the walls are thin or not, since no one was in the rooms adjoining us.
Lastly, it's all on one level, a basic motel format.
Pricing was $116 +tax for AARP rate. So budget? Sort of. less
