I approached the desk clerk and said hello. I was ignored by this person for a couple of minutes untill they finished what they were doing on the computer, then suddenly, he yelled, "CHECKING IN!" After giving him my information, he slid the key card to me without explaining how to get on the internet, where breakfast was... nothing. The outside of the building looked pretty new, but the room was old and dated. Fraying carpet in front of the bathroom a bad repair of the wall by the sink and the noisy heating and aircondtioning units without a wall thermostat that make a lot of noise when they go on and off. I had a problem while I was there and notified the hotel manager, he did not respond, so I emailed him a second time, then a third time, he did not respond. I wrote a letter to the CEO David Kong, a woman from his office contacted me, but we were not able to resolve the problem. I had a free night from their loyalty program. I told them to keep the free night I would not be using it and to delet my information from the loyalty progam. After staying at Best Western hotels for about 15 nights, my impression was that they were all old and worn, the breakfast is minimal, with no healthy choices. Some of the people who work there just don't seem to care if they do a good job or not. I will never stay in a Best Western Hotel again. less
