First off I will say that the staff we were able to speak to were very friendly and accomodating. Before arriving we had contacted the hotel due to our delayed flight to assure our late arrival, and they were very considerate. The breakfast was very good with many choices. Although there is a lot of road traffic if you stay to the back of the hotel, it is to be expected when staying close to the highway. The biggest problem we had was a wet bathroom floor on our first night of arrival. We originally blamed our daughter for not putting the curtain inside the tub. We didn't spend much time in the room as we were visiting relatives so the second night was uneventful. On the third night we all showered and went to bed. Late in the night my daughter went to the bathroom, came back out woke me up and said "Hey before Dad gets mad at me about the wet floor, I just had water drip on me from the ceiling!" I did not get up and check right away figured the morning would be soon enough. Sure enough the next morning our bathroom floor was soaking wet as were our towels on the rack above the toilet. I then noticed water dripping from the ceiling tiles. Toilet water, shower water? Who knew? We told the front desk and the lady kindly gave us a new room in order to get ready as we were checking out that day. We also informed them that the hair dryer had not worked since arriving, but it wasnt the end of the world. She thanked us and informed us that they couldn't offer any discount since we had booked through a third party travel website, but suggested we contact the travel site directly upon returning home. We did this, they contacted the hotel and were informed that no refund would be offered since we did not report the problem immediately.
Moral of the story...report problems immediately and find out who will be responsible for problems experienced when booking online! less
