I chose this Inn for it's location near where my family lives in Franklin. It is extremely easy to find coming from airport and is located near a lot of shopping areas. I learned my way around quickly from a quick visit (this time only) through the lovely, historic town, to Whole Foods, which is not far and some fun thrift store shopping! It is also easy to get to Nashville or Grand Ole Opry as well.
The staff was very nice. I arrived quite early and pretty much knew I could not check in, they offered me breakfast. My room was nice, looking out to pool. My room was clean with the fridge up and running. Nice tv and comfy bed. I like that they have soap dispenser for washing hands and lotion, but bar soap also available. There was also the standard hair dryer and coffee maker. It is a 2 level building with steps. I'm sure their is an elevator, but I did not use it.
There is a small gym. I did not get a chance to use the pool but it looked quite inviting on the hot days I was there. There is a nice looking playground for kids, but it really needs some shade. A few nice canopies in the area would be nice. The free breakfas was excellent. Nice variety and everything was hot or cold as it was supposed to be. The lady attending to the food was very, very friendly and helpful.
Aside from needing some shade in the playground area, the only other "minuses" I have are the slow Internet speed and the parking can be horrendous if you do not get back to the room early. There is a lot of wasted space in the center area where they could add additional lines. Instead people park along the curb or haphazardly wherever they want.
To exit the property it is much easier to go out the backway past the Starbucks. There is a light there for easier access when the roads are busy. less
