From the outside this looked like the perfect Hotel to spend the night. The reality was different for many reasons; this Hotel caters for the masses, Hen parties and the like, not the discerning customer. We paid between £125 and £140 for an overnight stay whereas the masses were accommodated in rooms at £49 that were no better or worse than our room(s). They paid less but enjoyed the same facilities, breakfast and staff time.
Our room was adequate although the bed was very uncomfortable and the small window that we could open ventilated the room sufficiently but we had to endure Air Conditioning units making a racket all night.
Being the only people in the restaurant on a Saturday evening they managed to provide the wrong meals for 2 out of 3 of us while the food was nice enough. One of the party has diabetes and had to wait even longer for the meal which can cause some health issues. The bar staff measured all drinks and charged prices amounting to daylight robbery, £26 for three red wines. They had run out of Tomato Juice as well.
No lounge area to sit after Breakfast or in quiet comfort to have drink at any time.
The general condition of the Hotel was dirty even shabby.
Not wanting to be too critical of the staff they seemed disjointed in their understanding of what was required of them while being apologetic and helpful in the same measure.
There are better Best Western Hotels in the world that this, many of them, and given the choice I would not stay here again. It is not clean, efficient or value for money. Find somewhere else to stay less
