Best Western Executive Business Hotel

Do not use this hotel. You risk having your booking canceled because they cannot approve your credit card. We are 2 families who have tried it, even our cards were ok. They canceled our booking the even before we should fly from Denmark. We called Them but they were not customer minded. It gave us big problems and frustrations. So a good advice do not use this hotel. less

This hotels discriminates against Americans and non-EU citizens who do not have an Italian Super Green Pass or an equivalent electronic pass from another EU country. If you are fully vaccinated and boosted, and don’t have that QR connection, you will need to pass a COVID test before registering. They should announce this loud a clear on their website, and the BW website. Even when we showed the desk staff the Italian Ministry directions (in Italian) regarding that American CDC cards are fully acceptable, they didn’t care. One of the front desk people had the audacity to ask me to leave a favorable review upon checkout. This is my review, completely UNfavorable. less

Best Western wouldn't let me check in because I didn't have a super green pass. I'm an American and I have my CDC white card, which shows I have 3 vaccinations. I did not have any symptoms and my booster was in December. They claimed to need the QR code, which was a lie. Because after searching for 3 hours I found a pharmacy to give me the test, but the results did not provide a QR code. I provide the test results to the front desk without the QR code and they decide to let me check in. So the "requirement" for the QR code was false. Also the official Italian website states the US white card is accepted in lieu of super green pass. I was at risk of sleeping on the streets because the staff there refused to admit they were wrong. I didn't get to do anything that day other than fix this mess, so I didn't get to enjoy my one day trip. less

The room was practically windowless. Locked small window leading to a vent. The room was not ventilated and in November the air conditioning was on heating mode only. It was like a sauna. The double bed was two single beds -very uncomfortable for a couple. No blanket for two. Only one single blanket. The Wi-Fi was finished at midnight. The breakfast was all sweet. Very sugary. Good coffee though. The staff were trying to be nice but could not help with the ventilation of the room and on Covid-19 times - they had no practical information about where to make PCR test needed for flight back. The location was very good. Walking distance from the old city and central shopping and entertainment areas less
