My son was sick when we got to town, all we wanted to do was get in the room so he can rest. We tried to check in early but the front desk lady was rude and very adamant that we have to wait until check in time before we can check in. I have never been to a hotel where I actually had to wait until the exact check in time! She finally let us check in around 2:15 (we arrived around 1).
We had problems with our key card but not to the point where we had to get a new one. We were a little uneasy about the fact that you could get into the hotel without a key card from any outside door. Our room was at the very end of the hallway on the first floor, there was an exit door at the end of the hallway too. You did not need a key card to enter the hotel from that door. Very unsafe!
The room was decent, the bed was comfy. No problems with the ac.
The pool was freezing even though it is advertised as heated. The bottom of the pool was so rough that after only an hour of swimming, the bottoms of my sons feet were raw and bleeding. Other people that we knew that were swimming had the same issue.
Breakfast was good and probably my favorite part of the stay.
We dont normally stay at Best Western and I think this will be the last time! less

Thank you for reviewing your stay with us. I am sorry that we were unable to check you in early and deeply sorry that the situation was not handle in a better way. We did have some issues with our locks as they were very old. I do hope that you choose to stay with us again in the future so that we can try and do better. We do have new updated locks in the entire building now and are trying some different things to make our guests' stays better.
Thank you again for your review.
