For the past 30 years we have stayed at this property many times. This time was the first time we had any issues. Our daily coffee service was not replaced nor was the lotion , shampoo. When contacting the front desk we were told we would have to come there to get replacement. When going there , they provided coffee and shampoo but said lotion would have to come from housekeeping. Upon complaining that housekeeping should have re3placed the items (we had a week long stay) the desk clerk advised that they would tell housekeeping , but communication with housekeeping was not always too good! ?????? Thes same thing happened the following days. One day, we had the do not disturb sign out in the AM but toook it down befor3e noon, as one of the housekeepers observed me leave , our room was never cleaned that day. On the final day of our stay`we returned to find the room partially cleaned, but carpet was dirty and bed drape3s had not been put on the bead. Housekeeping office was directly across the hall and we had the head of housekeeping come in to observe the room. Her comment was “So, what is wrong here” My response was can’t you see how poor the clean and room reassert was. Her r3eponse was, well you must have left it that way. We went on to explain that we had reported other issues to the. Desk and that the previous day the room had not been cleaned. She tried to argue that the do not disturb sign was up. When I pointed out that it was down before noon, she countered with, “well. If you had problems you shpould have reported them earlier, I would have cleaned the room myself” I pointed out our previous front desk complaints, her answer, ‘well sometimes the communication with the front desk is not the best”????? There folks have no clue about customer service, will not stay here again. What happened? New management??? less
