We needed to stay overnight in Dubois to be at the hospital early the next morning. We also needed to be able to bring our dog (80lb Golden Retriever) with us. Kelly answered all my questions about the room, and even went to measure if there was room enough for our dog crate and called me back promptly with the information (king suite, one bed, yes, plenty of room). Our room was in the conference center building, and was very clean and quiet. There were large trucks parked outside our window, and I did not hear them leave in the morning, so the soundproofing works well. Katie at the front desk answered even more questions in the morning, and was very helpful when I needed late check-out. The dog area is well-marked, and pick-up bags and a trash receptacle are provided. There is a fantastic playground for kids, which made me wish I was or had a child. The hotel is tucked away just off the Bee Line Hwy, and traffic noise was not a problem. I did hear and see a train engine the next morning, but I count that as a plus. My dog enjoyed our stay, even though there is no elevator (he loves elevators, I think mostly because he has a captive audience). I would stay here again. less
