This is a very busy hotel filled with workers repairing all the damage caused by the wild fires. It is also a very noisy hotel. You will be woken at 0600 like it or not. The walls are thin and it has external walkways that are noisy. The fridge in our room was very wheezy which we fixed by unplugging it, the clock radio had an intermittent buzzing sound. The beds are comfortable the pillows are lumpy. The rooms are in need of an update/reno.
There is a decent restaurant adjacent to the hotel. This is a $40 hotel masquerading as a $150 hotel. less

Dear Trip Advisor Past Guest:
Thank you for completing a review regarding your recent stay at our property.
On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future.
Currently, our hotel is the base for many families who have lost their homes in the recent wild fires that occurred in our neighboring community. Since, the onset of the Wine Country wild fires, we have been the host to first responders, evacuees and those who have lost everything.
I regret you felt our hotel was overpriced. During the past several years both the Sonoma / Napa Wine Countries have become an enormously popular wedding, tourist and regional destination. Our room rates reflect this increase in popularity and most times our prices are equal to or lower than other hotels similar in style to ours.
The best time to visit Healdsburg and our hotel is during the shoulder and or off season. This is where you would find our hotel offers the greatest value, as room rates are greatly different.
In closing, I am sorry you were disappointed with our hotel and felt it was outdated. We recently have gone through a $1.5 million renovation project in our original Casa rooms and our Luxury Villa Toscana rooms, as well as all public areas, to give us a fresh look.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to write your review. We hope to see you again in the future.
