Overpriced for the location, okay rooms.

We came to this area for the Fall Art Tour. Looking for a room to stay one night and found everything else booked up solid in a 30 mile radius. When we arrived there were two hotel staff people standing outside next to the front door smoking cigarettes. It stunk and I would think they could smoke somewhere else. The desk clerk seemed bored and sounded like a broken record as if reading a script. No personality. Complimentary breakfast here is also boring. I had the biscuits and gravy offering, which was tasteless and the biscuits were dry and stale. Typical of Best Western Hotels, offering the minimum basics but charging the price of a higher class hotel. I would expect the rate in this small town to be around $60-70 for this class of hotel. less

Dear traveling guest,
We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with such candid feedback about your stay. I am very disappointed to hear that you found our service to be below your standard. We do have a designated smoking area for our staff and this concern will be brought to the responsible persons attention. I'm also very sorry to hear that you did not get to enjoy all our breakfast offerings of sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes, bakery donuts, fresh fruits, etc.
