Booked derwent manor hotel for my birthday on 24th April,
We arrived early and was advised our room was ready so we could use straight away,
The owner then popped his head round reception and upgraded our room to a junior suite as it was my birthday.
Suite was fab, very modern and spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable slept sound and very quiet.
The Jersey Boys band was on that night for £14.50 each including 3 course dinner.
As we would have booked into the restaurant for dinner we choose the offer.
Vegetable soup followed by panfried chicken with veg and gravy and strawberry cheesecake.
As I am not keen on chicken I asked the receptionist if I could have something else which she offered beef. The beef was absolutely beautiful it just fell apart , everything was very well served quickly and very hot. I heard lots of compliments from my table.
Jersey Boys great entertainment and Dj obviously checked out age of his audience as music was great . Took a picture of the chandelier in the great hall (amazing)
Bar staff lady in the hotel on the afternoon was very chatty and friendly and down to earth and appeared in the evening with a cocktail each for myself and partner which had been ordered by friends as a birthday treat !
Spa facilities great in the afternoon .
Hotel was very welcoming ,all staff very helpful .We will definitely be booking again (maybe Motown ) as there was great offers on throughout the year .
Overall great stay less
