Rural location with driveway and some ground - probably a converted farm and steading. There is a purpose built leisure centre close to the hotel, also about six self catering cottages. Rather rambling layout with function and conference suites, large bar with outside tables. Dining room at upper floor level well organised and staffed but food is rather 'bus party' fare and could be improved. Breakfast mainly buffet style but items regularly topped up.
Best Western but, I understand, a recent change of ownership. There is potential for improvement especially with the dinner menus. less

Thank you for your review of your event stay with us, I was sorry to read we did not fully fulfil your expectations whilst staying with us.
Customer feedback is essential to allow us to continually monitor and improve our offering and I thank you for providing me with this, I have passed all of your comments to the relevant departmental heads.
Our hotel is undergoing a multi million pound refurbishment that will see a new dining concept introduced into the hotel later in 2015.
We look forward to welcoming you again to our hotel in the near future.
