What an amazing bed it was perfect i just wanted to fall asleep right away. the room was perfect also I just slept there so for a small room it was big on the extras. I was so happy that did not need adaptor to charge my USB devises there were ports in the room . The lights and temp were a finger touch away while laying in the bed or sitting at the desk. My only hickup was the bathroom for a large guy it took some maneuvering to go in and shut the door but figured out the dance its easy. Will be going back here again location was perfect for catching the train to airport or metro to other parts of the city was even a tour bus stop close by. less

Stayed a single night for a function in London. Location is excellent, midway between Marylebone and Paddington stations, close enough for me to walk to the tourist bits. Reception was welcoming, staff were helpful and the room, whilst 'cosy', had facilities that other hotels should take note of. Smart TV, media hub, nice climate controls, rainshower..list goes on. All in all, I would recommend this for anyone wanting a safe, good value central London location. If you want a ballroom of a bedroom to dance around in, then why are you staying in central London? less

This was a functional trip so I'll try to make this review equally as digestible and 'potted'! I was a woman travelling alone for business and chose somewhere near to Paddington station to make travelling easier. Situated in a leafy street, remarkably quiet given its proximity to Paddington and the main road, the hotel is a fairly unremarkable town house; much of a muchness in the area however it stands apart once you enter the reception area as it is modern, minimalist and clean with attentive and personable staff plus a handy and thoughtful waiting area or 'hub' where you can partake of the free Wi-Fi, hot drinks and a newspaper which is extremely handy when arriving early and waiting for your room to be ready.
It really was an oasis of calm amidst the London bustle and I was mightily impressed by the speed at which they checked me in and allocated my room which, although over priced (I got a deal through Booking.com - would NEVER pay full whack..) did pretty much what it said on the proverbial tin and had a large comfy bed, all mod cons and delightful bathroom plus was exceptionally clean and well laid out. It was a lot smaller than the pictures gave rise to believe, given that it was a King Room which was a small setback but when travelling alone it really wasn't an issue.
I arrived back at the room late in the evening and got a large class of very chilled and remarkably tasty white wine from the bar area in reception then headed back to the room - if I was nitpicking, it was tricky trying to watch the TV which was positioned on a wall 45 degrees away from the bed which meant you couldn't comfortably lie/sit in bed and watch it without craning your neck somewhat but a small price to pay...
The breakfast was continental, adequate and fresh - fairly bog standard. However the piece de resistance was the shower which although fairly unassuming in size, had two options - rainfall and handheld - and they were amazing. Gushing, clean, refreshing and well designed. A real treat.
All in all this is a compact and bijou hotel which is perfectly situated near Paddington and offers peace, cleanliness and mod cons - at a price - but then this is London. One other niggle is that the noise from the tube running under the room (I was on the Lower Ground floor in 003) was disruptive but take your ear plugs and all will be well! less
