This hotel is in a good spot apart from the 5 minute walk from the underground car park, the staff were really friendly too hence the one star. The room was facing the street and the noise from there, both pedestrian and traffic was constant through until sunrise. The room was horrible and depressing, pokey beyond belief and tiny. The bathroom...urrgh it had what looked like a load of toe nail clippings around the plughole but on closer inspection they were just lots of little chips. The hand basin was huge, maybe thats why the cleaner missed the hair on the rim. The building itself is a reminder of a bygone architectural nightmare from the 60's/70s, think council building revamped as a slum. No draft beers or lagers and a menu with 5 main courses a chilli, a curry, fish and chips and two other instantly forgettable edible non-entities.
Would i stay here again? Nope!!! less
