Don't stay on the weekend. Loud bass from restaurant.

I've stayed here several times in the past and it's been great, just like other reviews have stated, however the last time I stayed (in December 2018) things have changed.
The two week days I stayed, it was great. But when Friday night rolled around that's when the problem started.
The restaurant has parties Friday and Saturday night, and they have some very loud music with heavy bass. My room was in the courtyard, first floor, and it sounded like the room above me was playing music with loud bass that penetrated clearly into my room.
I walked to the front desk and asked them to check it out because it was very loud and it was after 10PM. They informed me it was from the restaurant, and it would continue until about midnight!
They also said they could do nothing about it, because the restaurant is separate from the hotel.
This was ridiculous. They basically said, sorry, but you will have to listen to it until midnight. I was at an event where I was getting up at 5:30AM each day. I pay for a place to sleep. If I were making that loud of noise past 10PM I'm sure I would have been asked to turn it down or leave the property.
The GM later said the same thing when talking to me on the phone. Can't do anything about it.
You're warned. If you still decide to book a weekend against my advice, and you can clearly hear the bass, make sure to say something. A couple others complained, but it was so loud that I know everybody could hear it. The only way it will get changed, is if more people say something about it. less
