The website offered various rates and deals for a Queen Deluxe from $165/night to $145/night for a 3 night super saver. By ringing direct we were offered $135/night for 3 nights. The room was substantially as advertised on the website though not nearly so appealing as the subtly lit web photos would indicate. We were given a front room (just 2 or 3 from the main road) possibly as a trade-off for the special rate deal. It was certainly NOT a quiet room! The large sliding glass window rattled noisily whether open or closed and needed to be stopped up with folded tourist brochures. The front door also rattled when the window was open, while water pressure noise intruded when the next door's shower was used. Particularly an issue at 11:30pm. The bathroom had been modernised but the toilet seat was loose and couldn't be tightened by hand and the cistern buttons were difficult to press. Previous attempts to repair the wonky legs on the timber table in the main room had definitely NOT been successful. It was otherwise clean and comfortable and, although we opted not to have our room serviced during our stay, pleasant housekeeping staff always knocked daily to ask if we required anything. the car parking was a little tight and the Restaurant was priced to only appeal to Corporates on expenses or well heeled locals.
