Lovely hotel with horrible sound between floors.
I was quite pleasantly surprised with the hotel atmosphere and updated rooms. I was horribly surprised by the stomping, pacing sounds from the room above as I was trying to fall asleep. I stayed two nights; after the first night of no sleep I checked in with the front desk to see if we had new neighbors above us, as I would have requested a room change; they verified that new guests had arrived. So, to my dismay, I found the same horrible stomping, pacing sounds the second night. I was at a complete loss, yet my son encouraged me to call the front desk. I called the front desk and talked with the same hotel employee that had stated that it was a new guest; she offered to call the room and ask them to be quiet. This obviously worked for the first hour, yet after that it resumed. Stomp, stomp, stomp....and no sleep. So, if you do stay here, absolutely demand the top floor. I'm sorry to say that I will never stay here again, and I will be visiting Corvallis often in the next few years. So, nice atmosphere, horrible experience! less
