Good bits - Really nice hotel and grounds, beautiful food! The spa and gym were really nice and wasn’t too busy as we went in the evening. Staff were all really polite and helpful and everything was kept to a really high standard.
Bad bits - We ordered room service for our breakfast but half the food we ordered wasn’t there and it was late, apparently they had run out as it was a busy morning. I wish I just went down there myself at an earlier time, don’t think you should offer this service if it’s not going to be correct especially as it’s an additional charge. Disappointed with the size of the ‘executive double room’ it was tiny! Could literally only walk around the bed and there was a bathroom, was also really cold all night.
I’m not going to focus on the negatives as it really is a stunning place and I’d definitely return it’s just a shame these few things happened.

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay with us and for highlighting the grounds and good in particular. I am also pleased to see that you were able to make use of the leisure facilities and that the team looked after you well during your visit.
I am sorry to see that there were some issues with your room service delivery and that the Executive room was a little small. All of our premium rooms within the original house are individually laid out due to the nature of the historic building. Executive Rooms are our first upgrade option and are the smallest option, Superior and Deluxe rooms are available within the Manor each offering additional floor space. Do please consider booking one of these on your next stay as I'm confident they will surpass your expectations.
