We stayed just this weekend on Saturday evening. The hotel was busy as there was a wedding going on as well as the function I was there for. We checked in fine as had previously checked in online. We went to our room (after paying £174 for a standard room) to find it quite small and just like a regular hotel room to be honest. NOT worth the money we paid (even with the FREE breakfast thrown in!)
We had a great time at the function we were there for and retired to the bar for a nightcap. Well the staff obviously have never made a hot chocolate before, cocoa powder and hot water (undrinkable) replaced with hot milk and cocoa powder (tasted like pond water). Needless to say that was taken off the bill.
We were also greeted by a mouse running around in the bar area, when the staff were alerted to this they did nothing.
TV remote didn't work, internet is very patchy and keeps kicking you out.
Hotel looks amazing, but wouldn't pay anywhere near that to stay there again. Very disappointed. less

Thank you for your feedback which I have read and acted upon. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience that was caused. The hotel is going through a review after a very busy and challenging period, and the necessary re-training is taking place on an ongoing basis. Yours sincerely, Mark Ind
