I've stayed at multiple Best Westerns all over the United States, this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had. The check in was where it started. I was told my credit card didnt go through with the online reservation. No one called or emailed me about this, I was told someone tried to call me. When I arrived at the hotel I used the same credit card I used to book the room. It was processed completely fine. We got checked in, we're told the room as upstairs in the back building. We unload the car, climb up the stairs because there is no elevator only to find out neither one of the "keys" worked. I called down to the front office to be told I would need to come back to get new keys. So we had to reload the car back up & go back to the office to get new keys. Finally get that taken care of, unload the car again, third time on the stairs with heavy suitcases.
There were several roaches, both alive & dead in the room. I was told there were no available rooms so we stuck it out. Go to take a bath that night & there is long dark hair on the towels, it didn't belong to either one of us. The bathtub was so low to the ground that you couldn't fill the tub & submerge yourself. If you did there was water all over the floor, I made this mistake. The hot water was one of the best things about this hotel. My friend took a shower, there was a funky smell to the curtain. She said it did very little to keep the water in the tub, so floor got flooded again.
The ac was mediocre, it didnt get cold enough to keep the room cold. Even though the beds were comfortable we couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep well because of the temperature in the room.
They weren't offering hot breakfast due to covid. They opted to give out brown bags with fruit & danishes etc.. We decided to pass on breakfast
Checking out went smoother than checking in. Dante was great & gave me a $20 credit after I showed her the pictures of our room. When I booked the two nights online by total charge was $207.46. Unfortunately my credit card now has two charges at $243.37 & an additional charge of $35.91. After emailing the manager at this location they are currently working on it to resolve this.
It will be a long time, if ever that I would stay at this location again. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone. less
